Voice of Democracy Arrests Begin

Breaking news just in from Axis of Logic and United for Peace and Justice is that the arrests have begun in Washington, with attempts by protestors to break into the US House of Representatives Approriations Committe chanting, This is the people's house -- Let us in.

More than 1,000 such demonstrations are set to take place over the Ides of March weekend, setting our resolve for a compassionate change of course in national policy, which will be reflected in the next New Moon in Pisces reading for the anaretic degree of Pisces.

Meanwhile, casting a chart for Washington DC at the time I first read the news, I saw that the heavens resonated with the moment. The eighth house is full of Aquarian energy. Chiron the wounded healer is conjunct Mars at 14 Aquarius. Mercury is conjunct the US Moon and trine the US Mars.

This crie de couer of the people bringing attention to the injustice of death on a massive scale, along with the death of democracy, is flanked on one side by Moon at 9 Aquarius, at the cusp of the eighth house, and Neptune at 21 Aquarius conjunct Mercury at the anaretic degree of Aquarius.

The Aquarius stellium opposes Saturn in Leo, the dictator using the Praetorian Guard in the second house of the treasury.

Quite a moment in US history!

Some wit once said that fascism is always descending on the United States, but it never quite lands. Truer words have never been spoken, and that is because the US has Moon in Aquarius trine Mars in Gemini. So eventually, even though our leaders tend to be hypocritical in their speech about democracry, the people themselves do actually believe the rhetoric and force the nation to walk its talk. Even in the darkest times, we manage to come through. It's an amazing thing and shows the power of belief.
