Torrential Rains

The Pisces Lunar Eclipse of August 28, 2007 occurs within a mutable grand cross, bringing an excess of adjustability and therefore a lack of focus, in addition to a feeling of having lost some sort of emotional support in the areas of belief and ideation.

During the last couple weeks, we've been feeling the effects of the mutable t-square of the August 12 Leo New Moon and its focus on watery Pisces. The last two weeks have been a time of torrential rains, along with hurricanes and earthquakes occuring in scattered global regions, as the Earth attempts to adjust to the normal change of seasons in times of overall global climate change.

It's been a time of shaking unrest and watery deluges, typical of the Pisces focal point of a mutable t-square emphasizing Uranus in Pisces.

We will probably have pretty more of the same meteorological conditions during the next two weeks, because we're still dealing with mutable energy even though the planets have formed themselves into a grand cross pattern. There's just a whole lot of shakin' goin' on.

As for the effects upon the individual psyche of this Piscean Virgo Lunar Eclipse, we may feel as if we have lost some sort of emotional support (at least in our imaginations) in whatever areas of life (or astrological houses) in which we personally have the early degrees of Pisces energy.

We could become teary-eyed and overly sentimental and produce our own floods of emotional waterworks. Trying to avoid insecure feelings through emphasizing the will to work (Sun in Virgo occludes Moon in Pisces) may leave us feeling as though we have lost (Pisces) some hidden support system of our subconscious mind (Pisces rules the 12th house) in the afflicted spots (difficult aspects to the lunar eclipse) of our own charts.

In the past couple of weeks, we've seen a lot of changes going on the circles of power that govern Washington, DC, even though they have largely been conducted out of sight (Congress has been in its August recess).

Karl Rove has resigned, as has Alberto Gonzales, who was under investigation by the House in terms of impeachable offenses brought by Sen. Jay Inslee (D-WA) just as Congress was going into its recess session.

Saturn, at the last degree of Leo is conjunct the fixed star, Regulus, where it has brought a time of accountability to bear in the highest circles of leadership. The purge is likely to continue, as Congress is set to review the Iraq war when it reconvenes in September. The downfall or death of a person or people in leadership positions is associated with Saturn at this final and determinative degree of leadership.

On September 2, Saturn will enter Virgo, and the free pass of creative book-keeping in the field of government accounting will have been rescinded. To whom, and under what circumstances has all that money given to Halliburton and associates gone? To where has the money disappeared? The Pisces Lunar Eclipse brings out hidden associations at work (Virgo Sun occludes Pisces Moon). Who really are these building contractors?

The focus now cannot go elsewhere than on Vice President Dick Cheney, who will be losing the emotional support system of his associates, as they lose faith in his ability to lead. The Pisces Lunar Eclipse at the fifth degree will affect Cheney's astrological Descendant. Cheny will find he doesn't have many friends to support him, as his behind-the-scenes tactics are exposed.

So things are changing at a rapid pace as we move into the fall season of 2007.
