A month already? You know me Lyssa, I have loads of ideas but no time at the moment to get them written. SpecOps is particularly busy for the next 5 or 6 weeks. Pickwick misses me enormously, she shows me by eating everything in sight including my favourite books. What about spotlighting women who are doing an excellent job of speaking up and "smashing the patriarchy," so to speak. Maybe something like that would inspire us on to greater heights.

Lyssa, though I have only posted once since the inception, you know I love this site. Congratulations on launching a truly needed, enlightened forum! This is just the beginning, I know it will continue to grow in its effectiveness and ability to attract sharp minds and compassionate hearts, strong and intelligent beings who see a greater vision and possible futures not imagined by the present pinched power structure. I truly believe its future is so bright it needs to shop for a pair of cheap sunglasses (I do live in Southern California, after all!). Thank you, all, for your various ways of supporting me in getting this site off the ground! In fact, without each of you, as well as many others, it would not have happened. It's the kind of thing that needs aesthetic & spiritual feeding (Sam), boundless enthusiasm & imagination (Thursday), and confident recognition & opportunity (laughingcat), as well as similar intangible gifts I've received from so many others.

Lyssa, I needed a place to put that "boundless enthusiasm & imagination" to use. And people to share it with. I couldn't have done it without you, so thank you to you as well. Maybe we should have buttons made up: "Member of the Lyssa Strada Mutual Appreciation Society"

Yes, those would be nice. It might be fun to just have them read: "Lyssa Strada: Harnessing the wrath ..." They might be great conversation starters.
