irgo Lunar Eclipse this year on March 3 at 3:17:53 p.m. PST, is leaving us feeling as though a little chunk of ourselves has been taken out of our natural, pragmatic ways of coping with everyday reality. We must strive for a wholesome approach to health, both mental and physical, strive to create workable belief structures, and strive to avoid circular thinking that tries to prove the unproveable with appeals to belief in the supernatural.

Nevertheless, we can, if we are wise, use common sense and frugality to implement whatever little feats of practical magic that may be accomplished in this earthly incarnation simply by remembering that cleanliness is next to godliness.

It's spring cleanup time for house and garden. Surely you will find many little areas that need a good cleansing. Soap and water, vaccuum cleaners, dust cloths, lawn mowers, rakes, paint brushes all come out of hiding at this time of year.

In addition, during the next two weeks, we will be putting things to right in the areas of our own charts containing the Virgo/Pisces axis. Be sure to check your own chart to see where you need to take an organized approach to the details of living. If your beliefs have heretofore not quite supported your results, maybe it would be best to make some sort of adjustment. The best philosophy is often the one that produces the most practical and tangible results. In other words, it's time for a reality check along the Virgo/Pisces axis.

Looking at the chart for the White House, which represents the nation, we find just such a reality check now in operation concerning the recent stock market plunge, euphemistically termed an "adjustment," the scandals at Walter Reed Military Hospital involving the denial of care for the nation's wounded soldiers, a general malaise among the working classes who realize they've been left behind in the corporate race to the bottom, a spate of stores predicting dire consequences for the nation's food supply because of lack of health inspections at food processing plants, and to top it off very nicely, a spate of tornadoes in the Southern and Eastern coasts and a 4.2 earthquake in California to shake it up a bit.

Eclipses have a Uranian effect, which means they bring reality to light in a shocking way. CNN has been covering the veteran's hospital scandals with the phrases "shocking conditions ... major scandal rocks ... shakeup at Walter Reed Military Hospital."

These are really old stories, but now they seem critical and shocking, not to be denied any longer. The dirt is swept out from under the rug.

It's all rather like an earthquake of consciousness raising as we have hearings in Congress revealing that the national treasury is being systematically looted by private contractors in everything they touch, especially anything designed to care for the people.

Check out your local newspapers to find similar stories of public hosptials being looted from the inside by crooked administrators. This Moon in Virgo is in the 12th house, so it is definitely the health and welfare of the working people that is being shown to be the big loser in the economy of fraud -- the kleptocracy -- that now predominates in the country.

Oh, and don't forget the public school systems also going through the same bleeding by the neocon operatives feasting like a plague of tics at the public infrastructure.

Cleanup time in the accountability department is long overdue.

Turning our attention from the outrageous to the ridiculous, we we see that the media is now full of stories about the Shroud of Turin and the descendents of Jesus, as if this were some sort of society based upon inherited religious right to rule the Earth. Pre-Enlightenment tautologies bandied about with all the fanfare of an advertising campaign -- truly absurd, factually distorted, cynical manipulation of the gullible.

The teachers of the country will have their work cut out for them this semester in the deprogramming department. There will be term papers about the descendent of Christ named Judah.

What me worry? I know we're on the eve of destruction, but I'm going to just get out my suds bucket and wash that stupidity right out of my hair.

As for me, I'm going to enjoy myself doing my spring cleaning.
